Vacation 2009

We took 3.5 crazy weeks of vacation to go visit family in Maryland this summer. The whole thing started when Mike's brother got engaged. Between the wedding and the timing for everyone to meet Sara Joy, it seemed like a great time to visit. I think we did something with someone just about every single day! We spent time with Mike's family and my family mostly. We camped, went to the beach, shopped, went to 4 different churches in our home counties, had an overnight romantic getaway, watched American TV, ate at half a dozen different restaurants, ate Mike's dad's famous grilled shrimp (a personal favorite of mine), saw fireworks, went swimming, visited great grandparents, got the 6 Kelly siblings in one place at one time, played with friends...hmm, is that enough? It was a great vacation. Maybe it wasn't as relaxing as some, but it was a great change of pace and very special time with family. And we brought back suitcases of kids books, baby clothes, favorite foods, and most of all memories. Love you guys!
